Game profiles and PC monitoring, without performance promises

Gaming Booster is a Windows utility from PC Confort for preparing a computer before a game and monitoring it during play. The publisher offers it as freeware, without a paid feature tier. It is intended for Windows 10 and Windows 11 on 64-bit PCs.

What the game mode changes

The publisher describes controls for the power plan, a game process's priority and selected background programs. Per-game profiles let you keep different choices for different titles. The application lists its changes and provides a route to restore the previous settings when a session ends.

Review the proposed actions before applying them. Save work in other applications first, and do not pause security tools or unfamiliar system processes simply to reduce the number of running tasks. Some operations may require administrator rights. An undo feature is not a substitute for a backup.

What you can monitor

The dashboard and monitoring tools show readings such as CPU and GPU activity, memory use, temperatures and network latency. Game frame-rate readings depend on the supported game and monitoring setup; the publisher's dashboard shows unavailable values when no game is detected.

These readings can help you compare the same game under similar conditions. They do not establish that the utility improves performance. We have not run a benchmark, tested a game with the application or verified a frame-rate increase.

Download and privacy

The Windows download is the complete, unmodified official 1.0.1 installer. A separate VirusTotal report is linked with the exact hosted file; it is a point-in-time scan, not a safety guarantee or a test of the application's features. We did not execute the installer.

The publisher's privacy notice describes a daily usage statistic that can be disabled in the program's settings. Consult the official product page for current features and changes. The gallery is a publisher screenshot labeled v1.0.0, not an independent test of version 1.0.1.

Best for
Windows players who want to inspect a game-mode profile and monitor system readings during a session.
Good to know
Windows 10/11, 64-bit. Freeware; some changes need administrator rights. Review actions and save other work first. No FPS increase is guaranteed; the publisher describes optional daily usage reporting.

Before your first game session

Start with the application's monitoring view and note the game's usual frame rate and temperatures. Save other work before reviewing a boost profile. Change one group of settings at a time so you can identify which action affected the result.

Will Gaming Booster raise my FPS?

There is no verified improvement figure in this listing. Results depend on the computer, game, background workload and settings. Compare equivalent scenes and check stability, not just a peak FPS number.

Do I need to change every suggested setting?

No. Review each action and skip changes you do not understand. A profile should fit your machine and the applications you need running. Keep recovery options available and check that the previous settings are restored when you finish.
