A living aquarium across your Windows displays
Fish Tank Plus, formerly Ultra Aquarium, turns idle Windows screens into an animated aquarium. Run it as a screensaver, use it behind desktop icons as live wallpaper, or open a full-screen scene. The current publisher site offers both the Glass Tank in an aquarium hall and the open-sea reef.
One tank across several monitors
Select the screens that should show the scene and adjust bezel correction so it lines up across the gaps. Fish can travel between displays rather than repeating in a separate aquarium on each one. Quality controls let you adjust the rendering load, but we have not benchmarked performance on different graphics hardware.
Feed the fish, choose camera views and customise fish or the clock display. The environment can follow the PC's time of day. The publisher's images in our gallery show actual application scenes; the settings image retains the historical Ultra Aquarium branding and is labelled accordingly.
Check the webcam option before use
Real 3D changes the viewpoint as you move in front of a webcam. It is enabled by default in the publisher's documented settings. The publisher says head tracking happens on the PC and is not recorded. Disable the option in Settings if you do not want camera-based tracking. That statement is attributed to its documentation, not an independent camera or network audit by us.
Fish sticks, accounts and the browser companion
Full-screen viewing earns fish sticks that unlock fish and ornaments. The publisher also documents achievements. The browser companion shares the collection when connected to the same account; the current Windows release adds QR-assisted sign-in and support for passkeys or Windows Hello. Local aquarium viewing and optional connected features should not be confused with a promise that every function works offline.
Free software, official delivery
The aquarium is offered free without advertising. It is proprietary: publishing selected supporting code on GitHub does not make the complete application open source. Windows 10 or Windows 11 on a 64-bit PC is required. The publisher says the current package includes its dependencies.
At the developer's explicit request we do not mirror the installer. Use the official download page or Microsoft Store listing for the current build and its update options. The Store route handles installation and updates through Microsoft; a signature or Store listing is not our independent guarantee of safety. No VirusTotal report for the older Ultra Aquarium package is presented as a scan of the current release.

Is this the same project as Ultra Aquarium?
Yes. The publisher renamed the application Fish Tank Plus and says an update preserves existing settings and custom fish. Our listing uses the current name rather than creating a second entry for the same aquarium.
Which download should I choose?
Use the publisher's download page for its direct Windows package, or the Microsoft Store for Store-managed installation and updates. A separate browser aquarium is linked from the official site; it is not the Windows screensaver installer.
