Inside VoiceWarp
1 / 1VoiceWarp audio workspace with the publisher's built-in sample and export controls.
Voice effects without a desktop installation
VoiceWarp lets you experiment with character voices using a recorded clip or an existing audio file. Audio and video effects run in your browser; the separate text-to-speech tool sends your script to a speech generator. The publisher offers the service without a signup requirement.
Work with recordings and files
Start with MP3, WAV, M4A, WebM or OGG audio, or record a short microphone clip. Choose a preset, preview the result and export a changed copy. Options include robot, deep, telephone and reverse effects, alongside pitch, speed, echo and reverb controls.
Choose the right workflow
The tool is intended for prepared recordings, not a virtual microphone for a Discord call, a game or a livestream. It does not clone a specific person's identity. For video, begin with a short clip: rendering is performed on your device, so longer files can take more time. Desktop Chrome or Edge is recommended.
For the workflow and privacy distinctions, see the publisher's voice-changing guide.
- Best for
- Adding character effects to short voice recordings and media clips.
- Good to know
- Not a live-call microphone filter. Audio/video effects are local; text-to-speech sends your script remotely.
A practical first test
- Open the official tool and choose Try Sample before using your own recording.
- Preview one effect at a time, rather than combining extreme settings immediately.
- Save the result once the speech remains clear enough for your project.
The MP3 workflow is a useful starting point for existing audio.
