Free temporary email, directly in your browser

CleanTempMail gives you a temporary inbox without installing software or creating an account. Open the web app to receive non-sensitive test messages, check a signup flow or try an email template.

Inboxes are public, not private: anyone who knows an address can read its messages. Use a mailbox you control for confidential information, important accounts and recovery emails.

Best for
Developers and web teams checking non-sensitive signup and email-receipt flows.
Good to know
Public inboxes, not private mailboxes. Receive-only. Paid production API quotas are separate from the free web interface; shared demo is limited.

How to use CleanTempMail

CleanTempMail is a browser-based temporary email service. Open the official web app, choose a temporary address and check the inbox for incoming messages. There is no desktop installer, and you do not need to create an account to use the free web inbox.

  1. Open CleanTempMail using the Open web app button on this page.
  2. Choose a temporary email address in the service.
  3. Use that address for a non-sensitive email test or signup that accepts temporary email.
  4. Return to the inbox to check whether the message arrived.

The service is receive-only. It is not a replacement for a personal mailbox and does not offer outbound email sending.

When temporary email is useful

A disposable inbox can be convenient when you want to test a registration form, confirm that a notification reaches an inbox, or inspect a non-sensitive email template without using your everyday email address. Developers and web teams can use it to check parts of an email-receipt workflow.

Some websites block temporary email domains, so acceptance depends on the site you are testing. For important signups, use a mailbox you control and can continue to access. Temporary email should not be your long-term contact address.

Public inboxes: understand the privacy limits

CleanTempMail inboxes are public. Anyone who knows an inbox address can read its messages. No-signup access does not make an inbox private or secure.

Do not use it for confidential documents, financial accounts, sensitive personal information, important login codes or account recovery. A unique-looking address is not an access-control mechanism. If your test email contains private customer data or credentials, use a controlled test mailbox instead.

Free web inbox and separate API access

The browser inbox is free to use. Production API access is a separate offering with paid, one-time request quotas; it is not included merely because the web inbox is free. A limited shared demo is available for evaluating the API.

If you are integrating email receipt into an automated test, review the official API documentation and current pricing before choosing a quota. Check the service's current terms and limits rather than assuming that a public web inbox provides unrestricted API access.
