Inside C-SSH
1 / 6Hosts and projects. Official C-SSH 0.9.0 Windows UI with synthetic demo data.
SSH connections and server management in one workspace
C-SSH brings terminal sessions, remote files and host monitoring into a graphical workspace. It is designed for developers and administrators who regularly maintain remote servers and want fewer switches between separate tools.
Connect and organise your hosts
Save connection details, organise hosts into projects and use search or favourites to find a server. The desktop client includes persistent terminals, reusable commands and port mappings. CSV and OpenSSH configuration imports let you review host entries before connecting; credentials and successful authentication are still required.
Manage files and inspect server activity
Remote file management sits alongside monitoring for CPU, memory, disks and network activity. Desktop editions also provide workflows for supported Docker containers, images and system services. Support depends on the remote environment, so consult the documentation before relying on a particular management feature.
Local use and optional AI
Local administration features do not require a cloud account. Configuration synchronisation is optional, using the official cloud or a self-hosted Creation Cloud service. AI conversations and memory remain outside cloud configuration sync, but selected context is sent to the chosen model provider when you use AI. That provider may charge separately.
Platforms and installation notes
Official downloads include Windows x64 and ARM64, Apple Silicon macOS, Linux x86_64 and ARM64, and Android. Choose the package for your device from the official release page. The Windows installers are unsigned; the Mac build requires macOS 13 or later and is not notarised. These limitations matter when assessing installation prompts.
C-SSH is distributed as closed-source freeware. Its public repository contains documentation and releases, not the desktop client source code. Read the installation guide before installation or upgrades.
